Pablo Zamora, Guest Conductor

Pablo Zamora is a Costa Rican orchestra conductor and educator. He currently works as a teaching artist of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, and the Atlanta Music Project. He also works as session coordinator of the Carlos Miguel Prieto Fellowship of the OAcademy. He has been part of the production teams of the Encuentros
Festival of the Dudamel Foundation, the YOLA National Festival of the LA Philharmonic, and the National Youth Orchestra 2 of Carnegie Hall.

In Costa Rica, Pablo started his career in the National Honor Orchestra program of the National System of Music Education, and later founded “Orquesta Humanidades” at the University of Costa Rica. He has conducted the National Symphony Orchestra of Costa Rica and the University of Sao Paulo Symphony Orchestra in Brazil. He has studied under Marin Alsop, Sarah Ioannides, and Molly Turner.
