Conductors

The ACSO is excited to be led by three outstanding conductors this season! Principal Guest Conductor & Artistic Advisor, John Thomas Dodson, Guest Conductor, Tamara Dworetz, and Conductor Emeritus, Juan R. Ramírez Hernández will all take the helm to lead us in our 65th Season.

About The Orchestra

Since 1958 the ACSO has pursued a two part mission: to provide local musicians of all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to perform in a full symphony orchestra and to present quality symphonic programs to the Greater Atlanta community with up to six free concerts a season. Each year we also present the Ruth Kern Young Artists’ Concerto Concert; giving several young performers the rare opportunity to perform a concerto with the ACSO.
