Join a community of skilled and passionate musicians from across metro Atlanta who come together to perform outstanding orchestral music in a welcoming and collaborative environment. Membership includes current and former professional musicians, freelance performers, music educators, advanced students, and accomplished community musicians who share a commitment to artistic excellence.
If you have orchestral experience and are at least 16 years old, we encourage you to apply. While we have primary instrumentation needs, musicians on all orchestral instruments are welcome to audition as we continue to expand our roster and programming flexibility. Our season runs from September through May and includes five concerts, with rehearsals held Tuesday evenings from 7:00–9:15 p.m. in northeast Atlanta. Whether you’re looking to maintain a high level of performance, connect with fellow musicians, or make music part of your life again, ACSO offers a rewarding musical home.
