Take Flight!
The Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra celebrated its 68th anniversary during the 2025–2026 season with Take Flight—a musical journey that soared through themes of unity, imagination, celebration, and legacy. Under the leadership of Robert Trocina, John Thomas Dodson, and David Philip Reesman, the season engaged audiences of all ages through a combination of family-friendly and masterworks concerts. The Ruth Kern Young Artists Competition, featured its new Young Artist Series, highlighting emerging soloists and music by groundbreaking women composers. The Art in Music program also returned, showcasing artwork created by local students inspired by the music being performed. Throughout the season, ACSO celebrated the power of live orchestral music while bringing musicians, audiences, and the community together.
